Carmine Rain

Should have been such a pretty day
With this golden sun,
With this chilly breeze
With that bird’s sweet song…

Could have been date to celebrate
With the health we enjoy
Gardens bloomed and gay
Painting joy and hope…

Could have been such an awesome day
Expectations up,
Growing up with you
And your room warmed up with love
Crafted from the noise
In a buoyant womb

But when you are out in a wicked world
In imperfect flesh,
In polluted skin
Things do change, and your are all alone
Like a hanging leave
That the wind could blow

Like the flame, of a candle dies
We did loose you babe,
In a carmine rain

You’ll remain
In your parent’s mind
In our eager wish
In a doctor’s file,
In a red stained pad
In the rooms
Of our broken hearts
As a ghost who drags
With a bag of laughs
Swimming in pools
Of our cups of tears
In decorated rooms
A nostalgic steam...

This should have been a day of summer
A day for blooms and flowers
Life in multi-flavored skins
But unexpected fragile butterfly effects
Made it a twisted winter
A tragic carmine rain

Painful carmine rain
Weeping carmine rain
