Ages

Another old thing I found in my electronic files from the 97-98 era... Did you ever imagine reaching your grandfathers age? I have always admired those marriages that seem to last and still shine and glow the telepathy of a couple that knows how to communicate between each other... Being the case that in such day everything weakens and the common symptoms of growing older begin to capture attention, to me that's when you really can discover the real love... A love beyond the beauty, the sex, the offers and demands. I started getting into chatrooms under the 50-60 range of age, and I tried to discover what it is that keeps them joint. I don't know if I reached the right spot, but anyway reading this makes me remember I still have to believe that waiting for the right love pays.

Our Bodies Morphed Old
Our Hair Got Silver And Rough
Now Our Skin Is Full Of Marks
And Is Hanging From Old Bones
Bones That Once Were Strong In Pasts
But Now Are Weaker Than The Chalk
And What Once Was Endless Passion
Are Now Memories In The Past

So What's Staying Between Us?
What's Remaining From Old Dust?
What Makes Still Be Strong Our Ties?
Why Shall We Stand Close To Die?
These Are Questions I Made Once
But I Reminded All Our Lifes...
And When I See What We Have Been Thru,
I Saw All My Questions Blew

Cuz I Saw Nights Burning Passion
But Then I Tasted Nights Of Bitter Times
When We Cried Together Praying
That God Saved Our Children Lifes
And I Remember Our First Time
When We Saw Each Other Bright
And We Melt The Icebergs Over
With The Heats Of Our Lifes

Our Good Times, Our Bad Times
Every Health And Sicky Chance
And The Times We Hurt Each Other
And Moment When We Smiled Back
Any Moment That I Draw Back
In My Memory Remains
Your Sweet Presence Next To My Spirit
Thru The Good And Thru The Bad

So We Don't Need Healthy Bodies
No Black Hair Or Perfect Sight
Neither Have A Baby Skin Baby
No Bones Hard Like Coolest Ice
Be Cause Weak And Sick And Distorted
With The Constant Years Attack
We Got Ages So Together...
We Are Not Two... We Are Still Like One.
